My place is close to the city center, parks, restaurants and dining. You’ll love my place because of the location, the huge private front yard, the horseshoe pits, the buoy swing, the fire pit, the large front deck, available freezer space, and close proximity to everything Kodiak has to offer. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and large fishing/hunting groups.

All the views along here are spectacular but we enjoy being right down on the channel. Daily we see the sea lions make their way to and from town, along with ducks, loons and waterfowl of many types.. We never tire of watching the commercial vessels plow by along with charter boats zipping in and out and the steady stream of seaplanes that fly out of Trident basin to many island destinations. If you don't mind not having access to streaming video and large video file downloads, and you enjoy being in a sparsely populated area, this may be the perfect spot for you to relax!

Driftwood Wilderness Lodge was assembled from lumber milled on site. The logs were collected and rafted 20 at a time from the nearby infamous Shelikof Strait. Incidentally this same strait harbors some of the worlds most fantastic fishing for salmon, halibut, and rockfish. Larsen Bay is an isolated Village located on the west side of Kodiak Island. It is only accessible via plane or boat. The flight from Kodiak to Larsen Bay is an amazing experience in and of itself.
